惡者篤於惡、邪者篤於邪、義者篤於義、聖者篤於聖。

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the person who does wrong keep on doing wrong. Let the evil person continue to be evil. Let the person who does right keep on doing what is right. And let the holy person continue to be holy.”

Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you will say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:’ The one who hears, let him hear; and the one who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.

But evil people and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

“ Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

The wicked is thrust down by his own wrongdoing, But the righteous has a refuge when he dies.

Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy,

Nevertheless the righteous will hold to his way, And the one who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.

And seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it except leaves alone; and He* said to it,“ No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.

Then He said again to them,“ I am going away, and you will look for Me, and will die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot come.”

Because I called and you refused, I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;And you neglected all my advice And did not want my rebuke;I will also laugh at your disaster; I will mock when your dread comes,When your dread comes like a storm And your disaster comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you.Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently but will not find me,Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord.They did not accept my advice, They disdainfully rejected every rebuke from me.So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own schemes.For the faithlessness of the naive will kill them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them.But whoever listens to me will live securely And will be at ease from the dread of evil.”

that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart, To walk by their own plans.

yet He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

If the clouds are full, they pour out rain on the earth; and whether a tree falls toward the south or toward the north, wherever the tree falls, there it lies.

And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given power to scorch people with fire.And the people were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.

And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent each,* came down from heaven upon people; and people blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the hailstone plague* was extremely severe.

Then one of the elders responded, saying to me,“ These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”I said to him,“ My lord, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.

There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond servants will serve Him;
