祂必永远吞灭死亡。主耶和华必擦去各人脸上的眼泪，从世上除掉祂子民的羞辱。这是耶和华说的。

因为在宝座中央的羔羊要做他们的牧人，引导他们到生命之泉那里，上帝要擦干他们所有的眼泪。”

祂最后要毁灭的仇敌就是死亡。

耶和华救赎的子民必欢唱着回到锡安，洋溢着永远的快乐。他们必欢喜快乐，忧愁和叹息都消失无踪。

你的太阳不再落下，你的月亮也不再消失，因为耶和华要作你永远的光，你悲哀的日子将要结束。

当这一切发生的时候，就应验了圣经上的话：“死亡被胜利吞灭了。”“死亡啊！你得胜的权势在哪里？死亡啊！你的毒钩在哪里？”死亡的毒钩就是罪，罪借着律法施展它的权势。但感谢上帝，祂使我们靠着主耶稣基督得胜。所以，我亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们务要坚定不移，总要竭力做主的工作，因为你们知道自己在主里面的辛勤付出不会白费。

你们要因我创造的一切而永远欢喜快乐。看啊，我要创造一个充满喜乐的耶路撒冷，其中的居民个个欢欣。我必因耶路撒冷而欢喜，因我的子民而快乐。城里再听不见哭泣和哀号声。

接着我看见一个新天新地，因为以前的天地都消逝了，海洋也不复存在了。

那时，少女要欢然起舞，老人和青年要一起快乐。我要使他们转忧为喜，我要安慰他们，使他们欢喜，不再忧愁。

之后，死亡和阴间也被扔进火湖里，这火湖就是第二次的死。

耶和华所救赎的人必回来，必欢唱着回到锡安，得到永远的福乐。他们将欢喜快乐，再没有忧愁和叹息。

再也没有咒诅，因为城里有上帝和羔羊的宝座，祂的奴仆都要事奉祂。

天地都要过去，但我的话永远长存。

住在耶路撒冷的锡安百姓啊，你们必不再哭泣。祂听到你们的呼求后必恩待你们；祂听见后必应允你们。

以华冠取代锡安哀伤者头上的灰尘，以喜乐的膏油取代他们的哀伤，以颂赞的外袍取代他们的沮丧。他们将被称为耶和华所栽种的公义橡树，以彰显祂的荣耀。

因为众儿女都是血肉之躯，所以祂也同样取了血肉之躯，为要亲身经历死亡，借此摧毁掌握死亡权势的魔鬼，释放那些因怕死而一生做奴隶的人。

不过，主再来的日子要像贼一样突然临到。那日，诸天必在一声巨响中消失，有形有质的都要被烈火焚毁，大地和其中的一切将不复存在。

因为人不过像一口气，他的年日不过像影子转眼消逝。

享用世界之物的，不要沉溺其中，因为现今的世界很快就要过去了。

我要把他们从阴间的权势下赎回吗？我要救他们脱离死亡吗？死亡啊，你去降灾给他们吧！阴间啊，你去毁灭他们吧！我不会再怜悯他们。

又说：“所以，你们要从他们中间出来，离开他们，不要沾染污秽之物，我就接纳你们。
