我要使兇殘、暴虐的迦勒底人興起。他們要席捲天下，強佔別人的家園。

在羅得離開所多瑪那天，烈火和硫磺從天而降，把他們全毀滅了。

信靠耶和華的人就像錫安山永不動搖。群山怎樣環繞耶路撒冷，耶和華也怎樣保護祂的子民，從現在直到永遠。

因為有一天敵人要在你周圍築起壁壘把你團團圍住，四面攻擊你。

求你眷顧你在古時所救贖的子民，你揀選為產業的族類，求你眷顧你所居住的錫安山。求你前去觀看那久已荒涼之地，看看敵人對聖所的破壞。他們在你聖所中高聲叫嚷，豎立起自己的旗幟。

焚燒之地——陀斐特早已為亞述王預備好了，那裡又寬又深，堆著許多木柴，耶和華的氣必如同一股硫磺火點燃那些木柴。

耶和華何等偉大！我們的上帝在祂的城中，在祂的聖山上當大受頌讚。北面的錫安山雄偉壯麗，令世人歡喜，是偉大君王的城。上帝在城內的宮中，祂親自做這城的庇護。
