我又看見一個白色的大寶座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都從他面前逃避，再也看不見了。

乃見一純白大寶座、至尊聖主坐焉；天地見之、逡巡而遁、無所自容。

我又看見一個新天新地，因為先前的天地都過去了，海也再沒有了。

於是鐵、泥、銅、銀、金都一同砸得粉碎，好像夏天禾場上的糠秕，被風吹散，無處可尋；那打碎這像的石頭卻變成一座大山，充滿全地。

但主的日子必要像賊一樣來到。在那日，天必轟然一聲地消失，所有元素都因烈火而融化；地和地上所有的，都要被燒毀（“被燒毀”有不少古抄本作“被發現”）。這一切既然都要這樣融化，你們應當怎樣為人，過著聖潔和敬虔的生活，等候並催促神的日子降臨呢？因為在那日，天要被火焚燒就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

可是你一直硬著心腸，不肯悔改，為自己積蓄神的忿怒，就是他彰顯公義審判的那天所要發的忿怒。

但現在的天地，還是因著同樣的話可以存留，直到不敬虔的人受審判和遭滅亡的日子，用火焚燒。

“當人子在他的榮耀裡，帶著所有的使者降臨的時候，他要坐在榮耀的寶座上。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

我觀看地，地是空虛混沌；我仰視天，天上也全然無光。我觀看大山，它們盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，毫無人跡；空中的飛鳥也逃掉了。我觀看，肥美田園變為荒野；在耶和華面前，就是在他烈怒之下，所有的城市都被拆毀。

天隱退了，像書被捲起來一樣；山嶺和海島都從原處移去了。

他捉住了那龍，那古蛇，就是魔鬼，撒但，把牠捆綁了一千年。

龍卻抵擋不住，天上再也沒有牠們的地方了。

過去那無知的時代，神不加以追究；現在，他卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改，因為他已經定好了日子，要藉著他所立的人，按公義審判天下，並且使他從死人中復活，給萬人作一個可信的憑據。”

各海島都逃避了，眾山也不見了。

立刻，我在靈裡，就看見有一個寶座，設立在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。

公義和公正是你寶座的基礎，慈愛和信實行在你前面。

你們要使困苦人的計劃失敗，但耶和華是他的避難所。但願以色列的救恩從錫安而出；耶和華給他子民帶來復興的時候（“耶和華給他子民帶來復興的時候”或譯：“耶和華把他被擄的子民帶回來的時候”），雅各要快樂，以色列要歡喜。

你絕不會作這樣的事：把義人與惡人一同殺死，把義人和惡人一樣看待，你絕不會這樣！審判全地的主，豈可不行公義嗎？”

密雲和幽暗在他的四圍，公義和公正是他寶座的根基。

耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，為了施行審判，他已經設立寶座。他必以公義審判世界，按正直判斷萬民。

他使大地震動離開本處，大地的柱子就搖撼；

神作王統治列國，神坐在他的聖寶座上。

我觀看，見天開了。有一匹白馬，那騎馬的稱為“忠信”和“真實”；他按著公義審判和作戰。
