But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

然我有所責爾者、以爾初時之愛已棄之矣、

然爾猶有疵可摘、爾初愛我、今則漠然、

然猶有可責爾者、因爾始初之愛淡漠矣、

第吾有不滿於爾者、以爾已無初愛之忱也。

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.

‘ But here is something I hold against you. You have turned away from the love you had at first.

But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

“ But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!

But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first.

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.

But I have this against you: You have abandoned the love you had at first.

Nevertheless I have[ somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love!

But I have this against you, that you left your first love.

And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold.But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.

“ Go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ I remember regarding you the devotion of your youth, Your love when you were a bride, Your following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.Israel was holy to the Lord, The first of His harvest. All who ate of it became guilty; Evil came upon them,” declares the Lord.’ ”Hear the word of the Lord, house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel.This is what the Lord says:“ What injustice did your fathers find in Me, That they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.And we desire that each one of you demonstrate the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end,

And this I pray, that your love may overflow still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,

Now as to the love of the brothers and sisters, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;for indeed you practice it toward all the brothers and sisters who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to excel even more,

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.

But I have a few things against you, because you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who kept teaching Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.

But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
