他們第二次說：「哈利路亞！焚燒她時的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠！」

他們看著焚燒她時的煙，呼喊說：「哪一個城能與這大城相比呢？」

折磨他們時的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些膜拜獸和獸像的，以及任何接受牠名字印記的，都將日夜得不到安息。

上天哪、聖徒們、使徒們、先知們哪，你們應當因她歡喜！因為神已經向她施行審判，為你們懲罰她！」

她怎樣炫耀自己、驕奢淫逸，你們也要照樣給她折磨和悲傷，因為她心裡說：『我坐著女王的位子，我不是寡婦，絕不會經歷悲傷。』

以東的溪流將變成柏油，它的塵土將變成硫磺，它的土地將成為燃燒著的柏油——晝夜總不熄滅，煙氣永遠上騰；那地世世代代荒涼，永永遠遠無人經過。

巴比倫——列國的華美，迦勒底人所誇耀的光榮，必像神覆滅的所多瑪和格摩拉那樣；

他大聲高呼，這樣說：『你們當砍倒這樹，砍掉它的枝子，打落它的葉子，拋散它的果實；使走獸從樹下逃離，使飛鳥從樹枝逃離！

原來，那焚燒場早已安排好了，是為君王所預備的；它又深又寬，其中充滿了火和許多木柴；耶和華的氣息如同一股硫磺火使它燃燒起來。

義人看到惡人遭報就歡喜；他要在惡人的血中洗自己的腳。

你所看見的那十隻角，是十個王，他們還沒有得到王權，然而他們要得到權柄，與那獸一同做王一段時間。他們目的一致，把自己的能力和權柄交給那獸。

松樹啊，哀號吧！因為香柏樹倒地，茁壯的樹都毀滅了。巴珊的橡樹啊，哀號吧！因為茂密的森林倒下了。有牧人們哀號的聲音，因為他們的榮美毀滅了；有少壯獅子吼叫的聲音，因為約旦河的叢林毀滅了。

他俯瞰所多瑪和格摩拉，以及平原全地；看哪，只見那地有煙上騰，像窯爐的煙那樣！
