因呼叫者的聲音，門檻的根基震撼，殿也充滿了煙雲。

吹號的和歌唱的都一致同聲地讚美稱謝耶和華。他們吹號、敲鈸，用各種樂器高聲讚美耶和華，說：“耶和華是良善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。”那時雲彩充滿了那殿，就是耶和華的殿。由於那雲彩的緣故，祭司都不能侍立供職，因為神的殿充滿了耶和華的榮光。

當時，有雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮耀充滿了帳幕。摩西不能進入會幕，因為雲彩停在會幕上面，並且耶和華的榮耀充滿著帳幕。

祭司從聖所裡出來的時候，有雲彩充滿耶和華的殿，因為雲彩的緣故，祭司不能站立服事，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了聖殿。

耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿生產，使林中的樹木光禿凋零；凡是在他殿中的都說：“榮耀啊！”

當主來的時候，他們要受永遠沉淪的懲罰，就是離開主的面和他權能的榮光。在那一天，他要在聖徒身上得著榮耀，又要在所有信徒身上受到尊崇（你們也在他們當中，因為你們信了我們向你們所作的見證）。

我看見天上有另一個景象，又大又奇。有七位天使掌管著末後的七災，因為神的烈怒在這七災中發盡了。

神的豐富、智慧和知識，是多麼高深啊！他的判斷是多麼難測，他的道路是多麼難尋！

濃煙從他的鼻孔往上冒，烈火從他的口中噴出來，連炭也燒著了。他使天下垂，親自降臨；在他的腳下黑雲密布。他乘著基路伯飛行，藉著風的翅膀急飛。他以黑暗作他的隱密處，他以濃黑的水氣，就是天空的密雲，作他四周的帷帳。密雲、冰雹與火炭，從他面前的光輝經過。耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，發出冰雹和火炭。他射出箭來，使它們四散；他連連發出閃電，使它們混亂。

你用密雲把自己遮蔽起來，以致我們的禱告不能達到你那裡。

耶和華對我說：“即使摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不會轉向這人民。你把他們從我面前趕走，叫他們出去！
