又因龍將權柄給了獸，就敬拜龍，也敬拜獸，說：『誰能比得過這獸呢？誰能對獸爭戰呢？』

又拜那龍－因為牠將自己的權柄給了獸，也拜獸，說：「誰能比這獸，誰能與牠交戰呢？」

又拜龍、因以其權予獸、亦拜獸、曰、孰似獸哉、孰能與之戰哉、

人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

乃拜以權予獸之龍、又拜獸曰、誰能比此獸、誰能與之交戰、

故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

我所看見的獸彷彿是豹，牠的腳像熊的腳，牠的口像獅子的口。龍將自己的能力、座位、和大權柄、都給了牠。

看見她被焚燒的煙就喊着說：『哪一個城能比得過那大城呢？』

牠行了頭一隻獸的一切權柄在獸面前，叫地和住在地上的人都拜頭一隻獸、就是受了能致死之傷還得治好的那隻獸。牠又行大神迹，甚至在人面前叫火從天上降在地上。

牠得了權柄、可以將生氣給獸的像，叫獸的像不但能說話，也能叫所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。

另有個迹象在天上現出來：有一條大紅龍有七個頭十個角；那七個頭戴着七個冠冕；

『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。他必不顧他列祖的神，也不顧婦女所愛慕的神；無論何神他都不顧，因為他必自大高過一切。

其餘的人、沒有在這些災殃中被殺的、還不改悔他們的手的作為，不停止拜鬼魔和偶像、就是那些金銀銅石木造的、那些不能看不能聽也不能走路的偶像。

永恆主啊，在諸神中，誰能像你呢？誰能像你有至聖的威風，有可讚之可畏，施行着奇事呢？

那族之民又大又高，是亞衲人，你所知道、所聽見過的、人怎樣指着他們而說：「在亞衲人面前、誰能站立得住呢？」

以色列眾人看見那人、就逃避他，非常害怕。

他們宰獻了自己的兒子和女兒給魔鬼，流了無辜人的血，他們兒女的血，他們所宰獻給迦南之偶像的；那地就因血而被沾污了。

他們必對羔羊爭戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王；那些同羔羊在一起、蒙召被揀選而忠信的、也必得勝。』

那敵對者、那高抬自己、超高一切稱為神或受人崇拜者，甚至坐在上帝之殿堂裏、自稱為神的。

我乃是說外國人所祭獻的、是祭獻給鬼，不是獻與上帝。我不願意你們成了有分於鬼的人。你們不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能分享主的筵席，又分享鬼的筵席啊。或是說我們在激動主的妒愛啊？難道我們比他還強壯麼？

在他們、今世的神已把不信之人的心意弄瞎了，以致基督（上帝的像）榮耀之福音之光照不能發曉於他們心裏。
