故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

又拜那龙，因为它将自己的权柄给了兽，也拜兽，说：“谁能比这兽，谁能与它交战呢？”

又拜那龍－因為牠將自己的權柄給了獸，也拜獸，說：「誰能比這獸，誰能與牠交戰呢？」

人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

乃拜以權予獸之龍、又拜獸曰、誰能比此獸、誰能與之交戰、

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

此獸望之若豹、其足若熊、其口若獅；龍以己之權位威力授之。

共對大火而驚呼曰：「天下萬城、誰堪比之。」

於海獸之前、操其大權、驅策全世居民、朝拜曩日受傷獲瘳之前獸。此獸多行奇跡、能於眾人之前、令火自空中而降。

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

又有一兆、顯見於天：有巨龍、赤色、七首十角、冠七冕、

顧人類之未死於災者、亦復不改厥行、仍事諸魔、崇拜金、銀、銅、石、木所製、而不能視聽行動之偶像；

犧牲子女。子女何辜。忍流其血。以媚惡魔。迦南之地。實為蠭窠。

俾合力與羔羊交戰、而羔羊終必克之。羔羊乃萬主之主、萬王之王。凡蒙召承選、忠心耿耿、而與羔羊並肩作戰者、靡有不勝。

反抗基督、妄自尊大、目中不復有所謂天主或可敬者、彼且坐於天主聖殿、而自炫其為天主焉。

然外教人所祭獻之物、乃獻於魔鬼、而非獻於天主也。吾固不願爾等之與魔鬼有所共享也。爾等既飲主之爵、豈可又飲魔鬼之爵；既與主共席、能復與魔鬼共席乎？吾人豈欲激主之怒乎？抑吾人較主為強乎？

蓋斯世之君、已矇不信者之心、以致基督榮耀福音之真光、亦無由照入；而基督固天主之肖影也。
