又予之權、使以生氣賦於像、使之能言、且令凡不拜獸像者見殺、

俾有神憑海獸之像、而作人言、令殺不拜獸像者、

並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.

那獸被擒拿；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑受獸印記和拜獸像之人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活活地被扔在燒着硫磺的火湖裏；

我又看見幾個寶座，也有坐在上面的，並有審判的權柄賜給他們。我又看見那些因為給耶穌作見證，並為神之道被斬者的靈魂，和那沒有拜過獸與獸像，也沒有在額上和手上受過他印記之人的靈魂，他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。

第一位天使便去，把碗倒在地上，就有惡而且毒的瘡生在那些有獸印記、拜獸像的人身上。

牠因賜給牠權柄在獸面前能行奇事，就迷惑住在地上的人，說：「要給那受刀傷還活着的獸作個像。」

我又看見那女人喝醉了聖徒的血和為耶穌作見證之人的血。我看見她，就大大地希奇。

於是總督、欽差、巡撫、臬司、藩司、謀士、法官，和各省的官員都聚集了來，要為尼布甲尼撒王所立的像行開光之禮，就站在尼布甲尼撒所立的像前。那時傳令的大聲呼叫說：「各方、各國、各族的人哪，有令傳與你們：你們一聽見角、笛、琵琶、琴、瑟、笙，和各樣樂器的聲音，就當俯伏敬拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。凡不俯伏敬拜的，必立時扔在烈火的窰中。」

因為神使諸王同心合意，遵行他的旨意，把自己的國給那獸，直等到神的話都應驗了。

他必向至高者說誇大的話，必折磨至高者的聖民，必想改變節期和律法。聖民必交付他手一載、二載、半載。

他受痛苦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些拜獸和獸像，受牠名之印記的，晝夜不得安寧。」

天哪，眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊，你們都要因她歡喜，因為神已經在她身上伸了你們的冤。

又有第三位天使接着他們，大聲說：「若有人拜獸和獸像，在額上或在手上受了印記，

先知和聖徒，並地上一切被殺之人的血，都在這城裏看見了。

它好像棕樹，是鏇成的，不能說話，不能行走，必須有人擡着。你們不要怕它；它不能降禍，也無力降福。

耶和華神用地上的塵土造人，將生氣吹在他鼻孔裏，他就成了有靈的活人，名叫亞當。

各人都成了畜類，毫無知識；各銀匠都因他雕刻的偶像羞愧。他所鑄的偶像本是虛假的，其中並無氣息，

頭有十角和那另長的一角，在這角前有三角被牠打落。這角有眼，有說誇大話的口，形狀強橫，過於牠的同類。

身體沒有靈魂是死的，信心沒有行為也是死的。

對木偶說：醒起！對啞巴石像說：起來！那人有禍了！這個還能教訓人嗎？看哪，是包裹金銀的，其中毫無氣息。

他們與羔羊爭戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王。同着羔羊的，就是蒙召、被選、有忠心的，也必得勝。」
