擄掠人的，必被擄掠；用刀殺人的，必被刀殺。聖徒的忍耐和信心就是在此。

凡宜見虜者則見虜、以刃殺人者、則必見殺於刃、諸聖徒之忍與信在此矣、○

凡虜人者、亦將見虜於人、以刃殺人者、亦將見殺於人、聖徒之恆忍信主、於此可見、

凡擄人者亦見擄、以刃殺人者亦被刃殺、聖徒之恆忍與信在此矣、○

引人入甕者終必自入甕中；殺人以刀者、終必自傷刀下。諸聖之恆忍堅信、於是乎存。

“ If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

“ Everyone who is supposed to be captured will be captured. Everyone who is supposed to be killed by a sword will be killed by a sword.”( Jeremiah 15:2) So God’s people must be patient and faithful.

If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Anyone who is destined for prison will be taken to prison. Anyone destined to die by the sword will die by the sword. This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful.

If anyone is to be taken captive, into captivity he goes. If anyone is to be killed with a sword, with a sword he will be killed. This calls for endurance and faithfulness from the saints.

他們問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你便告訴他們，耶和華如此說：定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必交刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。」

禍哉！你這毀滅人的，自己倒不被毀滅；行事詭詐的，人倒不以詭詐待你。你毀滅罷休了，自己必被毀滅；你行完了詭詐，人必以詭詐待你。

你既遵守我忍耐的道，我必在普天下人受試煉的時候，保守你免去你的試煉。

弟兄們哪，你們要忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫忍耐等候地裏寶貴的出產，直到得了秋雨春雨。你們也當忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主來的日子近了。

耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！凡動刀的，必死在刀下。

你們常存忍耐，就必保全靈魂。」

聖徒的忍耐就在此；他們是守神誡命和耶穌真道的。

並且不懈怠，總要效法那些憑信心和忍耐承受應許的人。

流你們血、害你們命的，無論是獸是人，我必討他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。凡流人血的，他的血也必被人所流，因為神造人是照自己的形像造的。

我知道你的行為、勞碌、忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你也曾試驗那自稱為使徒卻不是使徒的，看出他們是假的來。

你們必須忍耐，使你們行完了神的旨意，就可以得着所應許的。因為還有一點點時候，那要來的就來，並不遲延；

他要來攻擊埃及地，定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠；定為刀殺的，必交刀殺。

人仰望耶和華，靜默等候他的救恩，這原是好的。

耶穌設一個比喻，是要人常常禱告，不可灰心。說：「某城裏有一個官，不懼怕神，也不尊重世人。那城裏有個寡婦，常到他那裏，說：『我有一個對頭，求你給我伸冤。』他多日不准，後來心裏說：『我雖不懼怕神，也不尊重世人，只因這寡婦煩擾我，我就給她伸冤吧，免得她常來纏磨我！』」主說：「你們聽這不義之官所說的話。神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？我告訴你們，要快快地給他們伸冤了。然而，人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德嗎？」

我知道你的行為、愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐，又知道你末後所行的善事，比起初所行的更多。

我－約翰就是你們的弟兄，和你們在耶穌的患難、國度、忍耐裏一同有分，為神的道，並為給耶穌作的見證，曾在那名叫拔摩的海島上。

他們曾流聖徒與先知的血，現在你給他們血喝；這是他們所該受的。

我的弟兄們，你們落在百般試煉中，都要以為大喜樂；因為知道你們的信心經過試驗，就生忍耐。但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全、完備，毫無缺欠。

所以要回想你是怎樣領受、怎樣聽見的，又要遵守，並要悔改。若不警醒，我必臨到你那裏，如同賊一樣。我幾時臨到，你也決不能知道。

因為這默示有一定的日期，快要應驗，並不虛謊。雖然遲延，還要等候；因為必然臨到，不再遲延。

因為耶和華從他的居所出來，要刑罰地上居民的罪孽。地也必露出其中的血，不再掩蓋被殺的人。

外邦人必將他們帶回本土；以色列家必在耶和華的地上得外邦人為僕婢，也要擄掠先前擄掠他們的，轄制先前欺壓他們的。

那忍受罪人這樣頂撞的，你們要思想，免得疲倦灰心。你們與罪惡相爭，還沒有抵擋到流血的地步。

照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜地忍耐寬容；

因為你們怎樣論斷人，也必怎樣被論斷；你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。

若有別害，就要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳，以烙還烙，以傷還傷，以打還打。
