諸聖之恆忍、於斯乎存。諸聖無他、即恪守天主之誡命、與夫耶穌之信條者是。

二人作證既畢、將有猛獸出自無底深壑與之戰、勝而殺之、

啟五緘、則見為天主聖道而致命者之靈魂盤桓於祭臺之下、

若望乃徵己所親睹者悉為天主之明訓、及耶穌基督之妙證。

又受權與諸聖相戰而勝之、統治各族、各民、萬邦、重譯。舉世之人、

吾乃俯伏而拜之、彼止之曰：「慎莫為此！我與爾及信奉耶穌妙證之眾兄弟、皆屬同寅；爾當敬拜天主耳。蓋耶穌之妙證、實為一切預言之靈樞。」

諸兄弟賴羔羊之血、毅然為聖道作證、舍命不渝、從容就死；故能克服頑敵、終獲致勝。諸天乎、在天之眾聖乎、可以懽忻而鼓舞矣！

時見王位數席、居其位者、受審判之權；又見諸為耶穌妙證、天主聖道、而致命者之靈魂、及生前未拜獸及厥像、且未受其印誌於顙或手者之靈魂。若輩至此復活而與基督乘權千載；

然吾人將何以證明已與之相識乎？亦惟守其誡命而已矣。

因此、曩者予在爾處講述天主之妙證、亦未嘗用高言奇智；

爾父非他、魔鬼是已！爾父之志、爾則承之。彼自始即為殺人之元兇、未曾須臾立足於真理之中、以彼心中不存真理故。惟誑語乃出其本性；彼為誑者、亦為誑者父。

是故吾人苟愛天主而順其命、則必兼愛天主之子女矣。

我若望為爾之同胞、與爾在耶穌懷中共受患難、同屬一國、而咸秉忍辱負重之德。吾因天主之明訓及耶穌之妙證、而被流至巴脫摩海島。

爾等宜惺惺昭昭、恆自警惕、蓋與爾為敵之魔鬼、如吼獅猖獗、遍覓可吞之人。

俾合力與羔羊交戰、而羔羊終必克之。羔羊乃萬主之主、萬王之王。凡蒙召承選、忠心耿耿、而與羔羊並肩作戰者、靡有不勝。

吾又見婦人已因暢飲眾聖及諸為耶穌致命者之血、而酩酊矣。吾對之不勝驚訝駭異之至。

熒惑四方邦國、慫慂高谷及馬高各動員作戰、數如海濱之沙、橫行天下、包圍眾聖之營、及蒙寵之城。乃有火、自天而降、吞滅群逆；

凡浣滌其袍、得近生命樹、而進聖邑之門者、福矣！

乃見上述之獸、及世上諸王、率兵而集、欲與騎白馬者及其所率之軍作戰；

嗟爾天廷諸聖、宗徒、先知、今宜懽忻而鼓舞。蓋天主已予以審判、以伸爾之義矣。

凡予所諭於爾者、爾亦當教之共守。予日與爾俱、迄於世末。』
