我由啟示得識奧秘、如前所畧書者、爾讀之、可知我洞悉基督之奧秘、先世未嘗示人、今則以神啟示聖徒及先知矣、即異邦人同為嗣子、同其肢體、且由福音共與所許、在基督耶穌中者、我為福音之役、依上帝所賜之恩、乃依其能之功用而賜我也、我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、令眾知此頒布之奧秘、即歷世隱於創造萬有之上帝者、

惟上帝能堅爾眾、依我福音、及所宣之耶穌基督、並依所啟之奧秘、即自永古存於靜默者、

主耶和華若不以秘密、先示其僕諸先知、則無所行、

謂之曰、此乃我素偕爾時、所語爾者、云、凡摩西律、先知書、及詩篇所載指我者、悉必應也、遂啟其聰、使悟諸經、曰、記有之、基督當受難、三日自死復起、且以其名傳改悔、及赦罪之道於萬邦、自耶路撒冷始焉、

夫天必受之、以待萬物復興之時、即上帝自世初藉其聖先知之口所言也、

第七使者吹之、自天遂有大聲云、世之國已為我主及其基督所有、彼將秉權以至世世、在上帝前居厥座之二十四長老、面伏而拜、曰、主上帝全能者乎、今在昔在者、我儕謝爾、因爾既握大權而王也、列邦逞怒、爾之怒遂臨、鞫乎死者、且賞賚爾僕、諸先知諸聖徒、及畏爾名者、或卑或尊、又敗壞乎敗壞於地者、其時已屆矣、○

兄弟乎、我不欲爾不知斯奧、恐爾自以為智、即以色列間有頑者、以待異邦人之盈數歸入焉、
