藉著啟示使我可以知道這奧祕，就像我以前在信中略略提過的。你們讀了，就可以知道我深深地明白基督的奧祕。這奧祕在以前的世代並沒有讓世人知道，不像現在藉著聖靈啟示了聖使徒和先知那樣。這奧祕就是外族人在基督耶穌裡，藉著福音可以同作後嗣，同為一體，同蒙應許。我作了福音的僕役，是照著神的恩賜（“恩賜”或譯：“恩賞”）；這恩賜是按著他大能的作為賜給我的。我本來比聖徒中最小的還小，神還是賜給我這恩典，要我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外族人，並且使眾人明白那奧祕的救世計劃是甚麼（這奧祕是歷代以來隱藏在創造萬有的神裡面的），

神能依照我所傳的福音和耶穌基督所傳的信息，照著他奧祕的啟示，堅定你們。這奧祕自古以來祕而不宣，

如果主耶和華不先把計劃向他的僕人眾先知顯示，他就不會作任何事。

主對他們說：“這就是我從前與你們同在的時候，對你們說過的話：摩西的律法、先知書和詩篇上所記關於我的一切事，都必定應驗。”於是他開他們的心竅，使他們明白聖經；又說：“經上這樣記著：基督必須受害，第三天從死人中復活。人要奉他的名，傳講悔改與赦罪的道，從耶路撒冷起，直傳到萬國。

他必留在天上，直到萬物復興的時候，就是神自古藉著聖先知的口所說的。

第七位天使吹號，天上就有大聲音說：“世上的國成了我們的主和他所立的基督的國，他要作王，直到永永遠遠！”那在神面前，坐在自己座位上的二十四位長老，都面伏在地上敬拜神，說：“主啊！全能的神，昔在今在的，我們感謝你！因為你執掌了大權，作王了！列國忿怒了！你的震怒也臨到了！時候已經到了！死人要受審判！你的眾僕人、先知、聖徒，和所有老幼貴賤、敬畏你名的人，都要得賞賜！你也要毀滅那些敗壞全地的人！”

弟兄們，我不願意你們對這奧祕一無所知，免得你們自以為聰明。這奧祕就是以色列人當中有一部分是硬心的，直到外族人的全數滿了；
