He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

He said to me,“ Take it, and eat it. It will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.”I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth. When I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.

By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea.

I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder,“ Come and see!”

I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice,“ Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book or to look in it.Then I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look in it.One of the elders said to me,“ Don’t weep. Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

So they will fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives.

Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
