He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

我看见那站在海上和地上的天使，向天举起右手来，

我观看，看见一只手向我伸过来，手中有一卷书卷。他把书卷在我面前展开，书卷内外都写上字，写的是哀歌、悲叹和灾祸。

我先前听见那从天上来的声音又对我说：“你去，把那站在海上和地上的天使手中展开的书卷拿过来。”我就走到天使那里，请他把小书卷给我。他对我说：“你拿着，吃下去。它必使你肚子苦涩，但是口里却好像蜜一样甘甜。”我把小书卷从天使手中拿过来，吃了，在口里果然甘甜如蜜；但是吃完之后，我肚子就觉得苦涩。

拯救我们的神啊！你必充满威严，按公义应允我们；你本是一切地极和海洋远处的人所倚靠的。

羊羔揭开了七印的第一个印的时候，我观看，就听见四个活物中的一个，发出好像雷轰的声响，说：“你来！”

我看见那位坐在宝座上的，右手拿著书卷，这书卷的两面都写满了字，用七个印封着。我又看见一位大力的天使，大声宣告说：“谁配展开那书卷，拆开它的封印呢？”在天上、地上、地底下，没有一个能够展开书卷观看的。因为没有人配展开观看书卷，我就大哭。长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭！看哪，那从犹大支派出来的狮子，大卫的根，他已经得胜了，他能够展开那书卷，拆开它的七印。”

羊羔揭开了第二个印的时候，我听见第二个活物说：“你来！”

你求我，我就把列国赐给你作产业，把全地都归属于你。

这样，人从日落之处必敬畏耶和华的名，从日出之地也必敬畏他的荣耀，因为他必像狭急的河流冲来，耶和华的气必向他催逼。

这力量运行在基督身上，使他从死人中复活，并且在天上坐在自己的右边，远超过一切执政的、掌权的、有能的、作主的，和今生来世所能举出的一切名衔。神又使万有都归服在他的脚下，并且赐他给教会作万有的元首。

君王藉我掌权，统治者藉我制定法纪。领袖、贵族和所有公义的审判官，都藉我治国。

耶稣上前来，对他们说：“天上地上一切权柄都赐给我了。

使天上、地上和地底下的一切，因着耶稣的名，都要屈膝，并且口里承认耶稣基督为主，使荣耀归给父神。
