你們也應當忍耐，堅定自己的心；因為主再來的日子近了。弟兄們，不要彼此抱怨，免得你們受審判。看哪，審判的主已經站在門前了。

萬物的結局近了，所以你們要謹慎警醒地禱告。

聽從我，天天在我門口警醒仰望，在我門框旁邊守候的人，是有福的。

等候到一千三百三十五日的，那人是有福的。你應去等待結局！你必安歇；到了末日，你必起來，承受你的分。”

“看哪，我必快來！賞賜在我，我要照著各人所行的報應他。

親愛的，這一件事你們不可忘記：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。
