The LORD is elevated in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.

Great is the Lord in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations.

The Lord sits in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations.

For you, O LORD, are the sovereign king over the whole earth; you are elevated high above all gods.

Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”

The LORD is exalted over all the nations; his splendor reaches beyond the sky.

But he gives greater grace. Therefore it says,“ God opposes the proud, but he gives grace to the humble.”So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you.

But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assemblyand congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect,and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.

He rules by his power forever; he watches the nations. Stubborn rebels should not exalt themselves.( Selah)

God has revealed himself in Judah; in Israel his reputation is great.He lives in Salem; he dwells in Zion.

The LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise in the city of our God, his holy hill.It is lofty and pleasing to look at, a source of joy to the whole earth. Mount Zion resembles the peaks of Zaphon; it is the city of the great king.God is in its fortresses; he reveals himself as its defender.

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him,‘ What have you done?’

How will they respond to the messengers of this nation? Indeed, the LORD has made Zion secure; the oppressed among his people will find safety in her.

Then I looked, and here was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty- four thousand, who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.I also heard a sound coming out of heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. Now the sound I heard was like that made by harpists playing their harps,and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one was able to learn the song except the one hundred and forty- four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,and no lie was found on their lips; they are blameless.

From Zion, the most beautiful of all places, God comes in splendor.
