After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting,“ Praise the Lord! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.

And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.“ O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!

The whole earth will acknowledge the Lord and return to him. All the families of the nations will bow down before him.

And they sang a new song with these words:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings; honor the Lord for his glory and strength.Honor the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you.Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world. Interlude

“ Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. InterludeSing to the one who rides across the ancient heavens, his mighty voice thundering from the sky.Tell everyone about God’s power. His majesty shines down on Israel; his strength is mighty in the heavens.

All power to him forever! Amen.

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:“ Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”

“ Fear God,” he shouted.“ Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.”

He also came so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for his mercies to them. That is what the psalmist meant when he wrote:“ For this, I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing praises to your name.”And in another place it is written,“ Rejoice with his people, you Gentiles.”

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.

Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder:“ Praise the Lord! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

They sang,“ Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the world how glorious he is.
