孰云作耳者。自身反不聞。孰云造目者。自身轉無明。

Is he deaf— the one who made your ears? Is he blind— the one who formed your eyes?

He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?

The LORD said to him,“ Who placed a mouth on humans? Who makes a person mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD?

The hearing ear and the seeing eye— the LORD made them both.

LORD, you have searched me and known me.You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away.You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways.Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, LORD.You have encircled me; you have placed your hand on me.This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.If I fly on the wings of the dawn and settle down on the western horizon,even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me.If I say,“ Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light around me will be night”—even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day; darkness and light are alike to you.

“ Am I a God who is only near”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and not a God who is far away?Can a person hide in secret places where I cannot see him?”— the LORD’s declaration.“ Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?”— the LORD’s declaration.

You have tested my heart; you have examined me at night. You have tried me and found nothing evil; I have determined that my mouth will not sin.

Wine is a mocker, beer is a brawler; whoever goes astray because of them is not wise.

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD— his throne is in heaven. His eyes watch; his gaze examines everyone.

wouldn’t God have found this out, since he knows the secrets of the heart?
