主在高天顯威、勝於波濤之聲、勝於滄海之洪波巨浪、

赫赫在上。坐鎮四海。狂瀾以恬。聖道常在。

Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty.

But Lord, you are more powerful than the roar of the ocean. You are stronger than the waves of the sea. Lord, you are powerful in heaven.

But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore— the Lord above is mightier than these!

You rule over the proud sea. When its waves surge, you calm them.

For who in the skies can compare to the LORD? Who is like the LORD among the heavenly beings,

The sea looked and fled; the Jordan River turned back.The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why do you flee, O sea? Why do you turn back, O Jordan River?

Now a great windstorm developed and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was nearly swamped.But he was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. They woke him up and said to him,“ Teacher, don’t you care that we are about to die?”So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“ Be quiet! Calm down!” Then the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.

But you, O LORD, reign forever!

“ You should fear me!” says the LORD.“ You should tremble in awe before me! I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier that it can never cross. Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail. They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.”

when I said,‘ To here you may come and no farther, here your proud waves will be confined’?
