It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High,

Lord, it is good to praise you. Most High God, it is good to make music to honor you.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praise to your name, Most High,

It is good to give thanks to the Lord And to sing praises to Your name, Most High;

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah, And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;

It is good to praise Yahweh, to sing praise to Your name, Most High,

[ It is a] good[ thing] to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

It is fitting to thank the LORD, and to sing praises to your name, O sovereign One!

Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.

Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his deeds with singing.

Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Praise Yah, for Yahweh is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.

But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made the Lord Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him,“ What are you doing?”At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me. My counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

But you, Yahweh, are on high forever more.

“ You, king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father the kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty.

Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”

Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!

Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.

With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.

“ If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable; and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,then you will delight yourself in Yahweh, and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father;” for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it.

Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!

I said,“ You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it. I will hope in your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints.

The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,the twenty- four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying,“ Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

However, the Most High doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,‘ heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?’ says the Lord.‘ Or what is the place of my rest?

There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
