夜之驚駭、晝之飛矢、

夕有患難、晝有流矢、中宵遘疾疫、亭午逢喪敗、爾俱無所畏兮、

使爾不懼黑夜之震驚、白晝之飛箭、

夜間無有諸恐怖。白日無慮中飛箭。

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

You won’t have to be afraid of the terrors that come during the night. You won’t have to fear the arrows that come at you during the day.

爾涉於水、我必與俱、憑河不至淹沒、經火不致焚燬、其燄不爇爾身、

爾遇六災、彼必救之、即遭七難、禍不及身、饑時拯爾於死亡、戰時脫爾於鋒刃、口舌之害、爾得避匿、災禍臨時、爾無畏懼、遭毀滅饑饉而反笑、遇野獸亦無恐、田石爾與盟、野獸與爾和、帳幕之安可知、稽爾羊牢、無有所失、且知爾族繁衍、爾裔如地上之茂草、爾壽滿盈、始歸墳墓、譬諸禾束、屆期蓋藏、此理我已詳察、誠為如是、爾其聞而知之、自得其益、

如是我儕毅然曰、主乃我助、我無所畏、人其如我何、○

爾則安然行路、足不顚蹶、偃臥無懼、酣然而睡、恐怖忽至爾勿懼、惡人遭風爾勿驚、

我偃而臥、我寢而醒、以耶和華佑我兮、萬人環攻、我不惴焉、

噩耗不驚、心志堅定、惟耶和華是恃兮、

耶和華為我光、我之拯救、吾其誰懼兮、耶和華為我生命之保障、吾其誰惕兮、惟彼惡人、我仇我敵、進攻欲食我肉、咸躓而顚兮、軍旅雖對我列營、我心不怯兮、戰端興起、迫及我躬、我仍安貼兮、

惡者無人追襲而逃、義者猛勇若獅、

故雖大地變遷、山嶽震動、移於海心、

曰、小信者乎、何懼耶、乃起、斥風與海、遂大平息、

乃於夜間人酣睡時、出於幻想之意、驚駭戰慄臨我、百骨悚動、靈過我前、毛髮森豎、

蓋耶和華使亞蘭軍旅、聞車聲馬聲、大軍之聲、則相語曰、以色列王必賄赫族、與埃及諸王、來攻我矣、

我心震驚、威烈使我恐怖、黃昏之望、變為戰慄、

惟上帝謂之曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾靈、則所備者誰歸、

皆執兵刃、而嫻戰鬥、腰各懸刀、以防夜警、

若家主知盜何時至、則必儆醒、不致穴其室、此爾所知也、

殺人者黎明即起、殺困苦、戮貧乏、夜則為盜、行淫者目俟昏暮、自蔽其面、曰、無目見我、行竊者昏夜穿屋、旦晝匿跡、不識光明、

張弓發矢、以我為的兮、使其箙中之矢、入於我腰兮、

全能者之矢、入於我躬、我靈飲其毒、上帝之威烈、列陳攻我、
