By faith Enoch was taken up so that he did not see death, and he was not to be found because God took him up. For before his removal he had been commended as having pleased God.
All of the thriving people of the earth will join the celebration and worship; all those who are descending into the grave will bow before him, including those who cannot preserve their lives.
Just as no one has power over the wind to restrain it, so no one has power over the day of his death. Just as no one can be discharged during the battle, so wickedness cannot rescue the wicked.
For the fate of humans and the fate of animals are the same: As one dies, so dies the other; both have the same breath. There is no advantage for humans over animals, for both are fleeting.Both go to the same place, both come from the dust, and to dust both return.
Certainly a man cannot rescue his brother; he cannot pay God an adequate ransom price( the ransom price for a human life is too high, and people go to their final destiny),so that he might continue to live forever and not experience death.
