難道你、你不使我們活過來，而使你人民因你而歡喜麼？

難道你不願讓我們再次活過來，好讓你的子民因你而歡喜嗎？

不復甦我、俾爾民因爾而歡樂乎、

曷不復振興余、俾余因爾而悅懌兮、

求主轉回、使我儕復活、使主之民因主喜悅、

豈仁主之怒吾族兮。亙百世而不改。

Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

Won’t you give us new life again? Then we’ll be joyful because of what you have done.

Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.

O Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid; O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.

After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord:“ For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.” Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.But many of the priests and Levites and heads of the fathers’ houses, old men who had seen the first temple, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this temple was laid before their eyes. Yet many shouted aloud for joy,so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people, for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard afar off.

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.

Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who will say:“ Praise the Lord of hosts, For the Lord is good, For His mercy endures forever”— and of those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause the captives of the land to return as at the first,’ says the Lord.
