You, Lord, showed favor to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.

Lord, you were good to your land. You blessed the people of Jacob with great success again.

Lord, you were favorable to your land; you restored the fortunes of Jacob.

Lord, you poured out blessings on your land! You restored the fortunes of Israel.

Jehovah, thou hast been favorable unto thy land; Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

O LORD, you showed favor to your land; you restored the well-being of Jacob.

Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Yahweh says:“ Behold, I will reverse the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places. The city will be built on its own hill, and the palace will be inhabited in its own place.

“ Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?

“ Therefore the Lord Yahweh says:‘ Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

“ For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.

Therefore Yahweh says:“ I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy. My house shall be built in it,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ and a line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem.”’

Then Yahweh was jealous for his land, And had pity on his people.

All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought all these up when the captives were brought up from Babylon to Jerusalem.Now these are the children of the province, who went up out of the captivity of those who had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, everyone to his city;

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Yet again they will use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I reverse their captivity:‘ Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.’

When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,“ Yahweh has done great things for them.”

then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.
