主萬有之天主歟、主之民祈禱主、主竟震怒、將至何時、

求主愍吾族。賜我以復興。主但一開顏。吾人即見拯。

How long, Lord God Almighty, will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?

Lord God, you rule over all. How long will you be angry? Will you be angry with your people even when they pray to you?

O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, how long will you be angry with our prayers?

LORD God of Armies, how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers?

Lord God of armies, How long will You be angry with the prayer of Your people?

O Lord God of hosts, How long will You be angry Against the prayer of Your people?

O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Lord God of Hosts, how long will You be angry with Your people’s prayers?

O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

O LORD God, invincible warrior! How long will you remain angry at your people while they pray to you?

Yahweh God of Armies, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to all generations?

O God, why do you cast us off forever? Why does your anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.He said,“ In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man.And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying,‘ Give me justice against my adversary.’For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself,‘ Though I neither fear God nor respect man,yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’”And the Lord said,“ Hear what the unrighteous judge says.And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

How long, O Lord? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?

The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.

And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying,“ Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.”But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying,“ Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”He answered,“ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”But she came and knelt before him, saying,“ Lord, help me.”And he answered,“ It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”She said,“ Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”Then Jesus answered her,“ O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly.

You, Lord God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah

“ Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say,‘ Here I am.’ If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,

you have wrapped yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can pass through.

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.‘ Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’ Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers.
