求你从天上，从你神圣荣耀的居所垂顾观看。你的热心和你大能的作为在哪里呢？你内心的关怀和你的怜悯向我们停止了。

耶和华啊，我们要等到几时呢？求你转回，怜悯你的仆人们。

耶和华从天上观看，看见所有的人，

直等到耶和华垂顾，从天上观看。

愿万民聚集环绕你！愿你居高位统治他们！

谁知道他也许会回心转意，留下余福，就是献给耶和华—你们上帝的素祭和浇酒祭。

正如经上所写的：‘此后，我要回来，重新修造大卫倒塌了的帐幕，从废墟中重新修造，把它建立起来，

主啊，求你按你丰盛的公义，使你的怒气和愤怒转离你的城耶路撒冷，就是你的圣山。因我们的罪恶和我们祖先的罪孽，耶路撒冷和你的子民被四围的人羞辱。我们的上帝啊，现在求你垂听你仆人的祈祷恳求，为你自己的缘故使你的脸向荒凉的圣所发光。我的上帝啊，求你侧耳而听，睁眼而看，眷顾我们那荒凉之地和称为你名下的城。我们在你面前恳求，不是因自己的义，而是因你丰富的怜悯。主啊，求你垂听！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你侧耳，求你实行！为你自己的缘故不要迟延。我的上帝啊，因这城和这民都是称为你名下的。”

从你们祖先的日子以来，你们就偏离我的律例而不遵守。现在你们要转向我，我就转向你们。这是万军之耶和华说的。你们却说：‘我们如何转向呢？’

耶和华啊，你为何使我们偏离你的道，使我们心里刚硬、不敬畏你呢？求你为你的仆人，为你产业的支派而回转。
