他使埃及的水变为血，令他们的鱼死了。

耶和华如此说：看哪，我要用我手里的杖击打尼罗河中的水，水就变成血；这样，你就知道我是耶和华。河里的鱼必死，河也要发臭，埃及人就厌恶喝这河里的水。’”耶和华对摩西说：“你要对亚伦说：‘拿你的杖，伸出你的手在埃及所有的水上，在他们的江、河、池塘，所有水聚集的地方上，叫水变成血。在埃及全地，无论在木器中，石器中，都必有血。’”摩西和亚伦就照耶和华所吩咐的去做。亚伦在法老和他臣仆眼前举杖击打尼罗河里的水，河里的水都变成血了。河里的鱼死了，河也臭了，埃及人就不能喝这河里的水；埃及遍地都有了血。

第二位天使把碗倾倒在海里，海就变成像死人的血一样，海里所有的活物都死了。第三位天使把碗倾倒在河流和水源里，水就变成血了。我听见掌管众水的天使说：“昔在、今在的圣者啊，你做的判断公义；因他们曾流过圣徒与先知的血，现在你给他们血喝，这是他们该受的。”
