一怒定乾坤。車馬歸寂寞。

It is you alone who are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry?

People should have respect for you alone. Who can stand in front of you when you are angry?

But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?

No wonder you are greatly feared! Who can stand before you when your anger explodes?

And you— you are to be feared. When you are angry, who can stand before you?

You, You indeed are to be feared, And who may stand in Your presence, once You are angry?

You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your presence When once You are angry?

Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

And You— You are to be feared. When You are angry, who can stand before You?

Thou,[ even] thou,[ art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?

No one can withstand his indignation! No one can resist his fierce anger! His wrath is poured out like volcanic fire, boulders are broken up as he approaches.

a God who is honored in the great angelic assembly, and more awesome than all who surround him?

If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?

Everyone should revere you, O King of all nations, because you deserve to be revered. For there is no one like you among any of the wise people of the nations nor among any of their kings.The people of those nations are both stupid and foolish. Instruction from a wooden idol is worthless!Hammered-out silver is brought from Tarshish and gold is brought from Uphaz to cover those idols. They are the handiwork of carpenters and goldsmiths. They are clothed in blue and purple clothes. They are all made by skillful workers.The LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When he shows his anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to his fury.

Who can really fathom the intensity of your anger? Your raging fury causes people to fear you.

O LORD God of Israel, you are righteous, for we are left as a remnant this day. Indeed, we stand before you in our guilt. However, because of this guilt no one can really stand before you.”

He declared in a loud voice:“ Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has arrived, and worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water!”

They said to the mountains and to the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”

Or are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we really stronger than he is?

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name, because you alone are holy? All nations will come and worship before you for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Give sincere homage! Otherwise he will be angry, and you will die because of your behavior, when his anger quickly ignites. How blessed are all who take shelter in him!

For the LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise, he is more awesome than all gods.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
