地上行讞鞫。良善蒙恩撫。

Surely your wrath against mankind brings you praise, and the survivors of your wrath are restrained.

Your anger against sinners brings you praise. Those who live through your anger gather to worship you.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise you; the remnant of wrath you will put on like a belt.

Human defiance only enhances your glory, for you use it as a weapon.

Even human wrath will praise you; you will clothe yourself with the wrath that remains.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.

Certainly your angry judgment upon men will bring you praise; you reveal your anger in full measure.

Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and his facial expression was changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego. He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.And he ordered certain valiant warriors who were in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego in order to throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh,“ For this very reason I raised you up, in order to demonstrate My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed throughout the earth.”

And Judah said to his brothers,“ What profit is it for us to kill our brother and cover up his blood?Come, and let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him.Then some Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him out and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. So they brought Joseph into Egypt.

The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoils; I shall be satisfied against them; I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Who is like You among the gods, Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.

The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth quaked.

When he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter as well.( Now these were the days of Unleavened Bread.)When he had arrested him, he put him in prison, turning him over to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending only after the Passover to bring him before the people.So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church.On the very night when Herod was about to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and guards in front of the door were watching over the prison.And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly stood near Peter, and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter’s side and woke him, saying,“ Get up quickly.” And his chains fell off his hands.And the angel said to him,“ Put on your belt and strap on your sandals.” And he did so. And he* said to him,“ Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.”And he went out and continued to follow, and yet he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.Now when they had passed the first and second guard, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which opened for them by itself; and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.When Peter came to himself, he said,“ Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”And when he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John, who was also called Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.When he knocked at the door of the gate, a slave woman named Rhoda came to answer.When she recognized Peter’s voice, because of her joy she did not open the gate, but ran in and announced that Peter was standing in front of the gate.They said to her,“ You are out of your mind!” But she kept insisting that it was so. They said,“ It is his angel.”But Peter continued knocking; and when they had opened the door, they saw him and were amazed.But motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he described to them how the Lord had led him out of the prison. And he said,“ Report these things to James and the brothers.” Then he left and went to another place.Now when day came, there was no small disturbance among the soldiers as to what could have become of Peter.When Herod had searched for him and had not found him, he examined the guards and ordered that they be led away to execution. Then he went down from Judea to Caesarea and was spending time there.

But indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name throughout the earth.Still you exalt yourself against My people by not letting them go.

Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; indeed, it was proven when they acted insolently against the people.”

Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared to Joseph in a dream and said,“ Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to kill Him.”So Joseph got up and took the Child and His mother while it was still night, and left for Egypt.He stayed there until the death of Herod; this happened so that what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:“ Out of Egypt I called My Son.”Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent men and killed all the boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity who were two years old or under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi.

When they saw him from a distance, and before he came closer to them, they plotted against him to put him to death.They said to one another,“ Here comes this dreamer!Now then, come and let’s kill him, and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say,‘ A vicious animal devoured him.’ Then we will see what will become of his dreams!”

Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.

And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.’For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel,to do whatever Your hand and purpose predestined to occur.

You set a boundary so that they will not pass over, So that they will not return to cover the earth.
