So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper. But what a difficult task it is!

When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply

I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

He will be handed over to the Romans, and he will be mocked, treated shamefully, and spit upon.They will flog him with a whip and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again.”But they didn’t understand any of this. The significance of his words was hidden from them, and they failed to grasp what he was talking about.

And what does he mean by‘ a little while’? We don’t understand.”Jesus realized they wanted to ask him about it, so he said,“ Are you asking yourselves what I meant? I said in a little while you won’t see me, but a little while after that you will see me again.

We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.

Dark clouds surround him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.

Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters— a pathway no one knew was there!

I am too stupid to be human, and I lack common sense.I have not mastered human wisdom, nor do I know the Holy One.
