When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply

I observed all the work of God and concluded that man is unable to discover the work that is done under the sun. Even though a man labors hard to explore it, he cannot find it; even if the wise man claims to know it, he is unable to discover it.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways!

For He will be handed over to the Gentiles, and He will be mocked, insulted, spit on;and after they flog Him, they will kill Him, and He will rise on the third day.”They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said.

They said,“ What is this He is saying,‘ A little while’? We don’t know what He’s talking about!”Jesus knew they wanted to question Him, so He said to them,“ Are you asking one another about what I said,‘ A little while and you will not see Me; again a little while and you will see Me’?

“ Certainly, man walks about like a mere shadow. Indeed, they frantically rush around in vain, gathering possessions without knowing who will get them.

Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains; Your judgments, like the deepest sea. Lord, You preserve man and beast.

Your way went through the sea and Your path through the great waters, but Your footprints were unseen.

I am more stupid than any other man, and I lack man’s ability to understand.I have not gained wisdom, and I have no knowledge of the Holy One.
