我若隨聲和。將遺子孫毒。

If I had spoken out like that, I would have betrayed your children.

What if I had talked like that? Then I wouldn’t have been faithful to God’s children.

If I had said,“ I will speak thus,” I would have betrayed the generation of your children.

If I had really spoken this way to others, I would have been a traitor to your people.

If I had decided to say these things aloud, I would have betrayed your people.

If I had said,“ I will speak this way,” Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.

If I had said,“ I will speak thus,” Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children.

If I had said, I will speak thus; Behold, I had dealt treacherously with the generation of thy children.

If I had decided to say these things aloud, I would have betrayed Your people.

If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend[ against] the generation of thy children.

If I had publicized these thoughts, I would have betrayed your loyal followers.

If I had said,“ I will speak thus”; behold, I would have betrayed the generation of your children.

So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.
