萬軍之主永恆主啊，不要使那等候你的因我而失望；以色列之上帝啊，不要使那尋求你的因我而狼狽周章。

萬軍之主耶和華歟、勿使企望爾者、因我而蒙羞、以色列之上帝歟、勿使尋求爾者、因我而受辱、

萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華兮、我惟爾是賴、勿我遐棄、仰望爾者、勿使蒙恥、祈求爾者、毋俾貽羞兮、

求萬有之主天主、莫使仰望主者、因我而含羞、求以色列之天主、莫使尋求主者、因我而受辱、

嗚呼天主兮。爾實知予之愚狂。予罪多參在上兮。恐欲蓋而彌彰。

Lord, the Lord Almighty, may those who hope in you not be disgraced because of me; God of Israel, may those who seek you not be put to shame because of me.

Lord, you are the Lord who rules over all. May those who put their hope in you not be dishonored because of me. You are the God of Israel. May those who worship you not be put to shame because of me.

Let not those who hope in you be put to shame through me, O Lord God of hosts; let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.

Don’t let those who trust in you be ashamed because of me, O Sovereign Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Don’t let me cause them to be humiliated, O God of Israel.

Do not let those who put their hope in you be disgraced because of me, Lord GOD of Armies; do not let those who seek you be humiliated because of me, God of Israel.

May those who wait for You not be ashamed because of me, Lord God of armies; May those who seek You not be dishonored because of me, God of Israel,

Let not those who wait for You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed because of me; Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.

Let not them that wait for thee be put to shame through me, O Lord Jehovah of hosts: Let not those that seek thee be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.

Do not let those who put their hope in You be disgraced because of me, Lord God of Hosts; do not let those who seek You be humiliated because of me, God of Israel.

Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

Let none who rely on you be disgraced because of me, O sovereign LORD and king! Let none who seek you be ashamed because of me, O God of Israel!

Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.

耶穌問他們：「什麼事呢？」他們對他說：「就是有關拿撒勒人耶穌的事。這個人是一位先知，在神和全體民眾面前說話行事都有能力。我們的祭司長們和首領們竟把他交出去，判了死罪，釘上十字架。不過我們一直希望他就是要救贖以色列的那一位。不但如此，從這些事發生到今天，已經是第三天了。

願那些對我幸災樂禍的，全都抱愧蒙羞；願那些在我面前高抬自己的，披上恥辱和羞愧。

所有等候你的必不致蒙羞，那些無故背信的必會蒙羞。

這以色列民族的神揀選了我們的祖先，當他們寄居在埃及地的時候，高舉他們，並用大能的膀臂帶領他們從那裡出來。

願萬民聚集環繞你，願你歸回高處，在萬民之上。

以色列的神發話，以色列的磐石對我說：「那以公義統治人民，存敬畏神的心施行統治的，

君王們必作你兒女的撫養人，王后們必作你兒女的乳母；他們必臉伏於地，向你下拜，舔你腳上的塵土。那時，你就知道：我是耶和華，等候我的必不致蒙羞。」

耶和華神——獨行奇事的以色列的神，是當受頌讚的！

「神照著應許，從這人的後裔中給以色列帶來了一位救主，就是耶穌。

他們叫彼得和約翰站在中間，質問他們，說：「你們憑著什麼能力，以誰的名做這事？」
