凡爾曹敬畏天主之人、皆須來聽、我將述說天主向我所行之事、

敬主之人。悉心靜聽。聽我宣布。主之救恩。

Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.

Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord.

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”— and I am the worst of them all.But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.

Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.

You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.

I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.

Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me.

Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!

Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him.For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God’s church.But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me— and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.

I will tell about your righteous deeds all day long, for everyone who tried to hurt me has been shamed and humiliated.

Praise the Lord, all you who fear him! Honor him, all you descendants of Jacob! Show him reverence, all you descendants of Israel!For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned his back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.

I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself,“ I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. InterludeTherefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.
