曠野有苑、咸沾膏澤、萬山之民、靡不喜樂兮、群羊遍野、五穀盈阡、居民歡呼、咸謳歌兮。

草野均霑膏澤、山岳無不歡呼、

春沐主之澤。秋食主之祿。芳蹤之所過。步步留肥沃。

The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.

The grass grows thick even in the desert. The hills are dressed with gladness.

The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,

The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.

The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.

The pastures of the wilderness drip, And the hills encircle themselves with rejoicing.

They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side.

To cause it to rain on a land where no man is; On the wilderness, wherein there is no man;To satisfy the waste and desolate ground, And to cause the tender grass to spring forth?

He sendeth forth springs into the valleys; They run among the mountains;They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild asses quench their thirst.By them the birds of the heavens have their habitation; They sing among the branches.He watereth the mountains from his chambers: The earth is filled with the fruit of thy works.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater;so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir- tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle- tree: and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;

I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.For as the earth bringeth forth its bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Jehovah will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth its fruit, the fig- tree and the vine do yield their strength.
