In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!Enter not into judgment with your servant, for no one living is righteous before you.For the enemy has pursued my soul; he has crushed my life to the ground; he has made me sit in darkness like those long dead.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me!

And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision,“ Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent,for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.”

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me.

“ I called on your name, O Lord, from the depths of the pit;you heard my plea,‘ Do not close your ear to my cry for help!’

I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
