橫逆縱頻仍。心泰何憂否。

人無百年好。花無百日香。

彼既向我致丹忱。寧能孤負有心人。將彼拔擢登高位。以彼永懷予之名。

信哉、貪財乃萬惡之根也。頗有因求財之故、而離棄正道流入岐途、終至自求辛螫、百慮刺心者焉。

耶穌顧謂其徒曰：『難矣哉、富人之進天主國也！』

人雖富有天下、苟失其生、亦有何益？且更將以何物易其生乎？
