Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

神啊，你不是丢弃了我们吗？神啊，你不和我们的军兵同去吗？

上帝啊，你真的丢弃了我们吗？上帝啊，你不和我们的军队同去吗？

神啊，你真的丢弃了我们吗？神啊，你不和我们的军队同去吗？

上帝啊，你抛弃了我们吗？不再和我们的军队一同出战了吗？

神啊！你不是把我们丢弃了吗？神啊！你不和我们的军队一同出战吗？

神哪，你不会抛弃了我们吧？神哪，你不与我们的队伍一同出征吗？

神啊，你不是丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍兵同去嗎？

上帝啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？上帝啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

神啊，你真的丟棄了我們嗎？神啊，你不和我們的軍隊同去嗎？

上帝啊，你拋棄了我們嗎？不再和我們的軍隊一同出戰了嗎？

神啊！你不是把我們丟棄了嗎？神啊！你不和我們的軍隊一同出戰嗎？

上帝啊，不是你把我們屏棄了麼？上帝啊，你不在我們軍隊中去出戰了！

神哪，你不會拋棄了我們吧？神哪，你不與我們的隊伍一同出征嗎？

上帝歟、爾非棄我乎、上帝歟、爾不與我軍偕出兮、

惟爾上帝、素棄我躬、惟爾上帝、今率予軍旅兮。

豈非天主乎、現今主竟棄絕我儕、不率我軍旅出徵、

摩瓦作盤。夷東置屩。菲莉之野。供我歡躍。

Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?

God, isn’t it you, even though you have now turned away from us? Isn’t it you, even though you don’t lead our armies into battle anymore?

Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go forth, O God, with our armies.

Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies?

God, haven’t you rejected us? God, you do not march out with our armies.

Have You Yourself not rejected us, God? And will You not go out with our armies, God?

Hast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

God, haven’t You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies.

[ Wilt] not thou, O God,[ which] hadst cast us off? and[ thou], O God,[ which] didst not go out with our armies?

Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.

Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.

Is it not You, O God, who cast us off? And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?

Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.

O God, You have cast us off; You have broken us down; You have been displeased; Oh, restore us again!

“ And the Lord said to me,‘ Tell them,“ Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.”’

Now when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said,“ What does the sound of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” Then they understood that the ark of the Lord had come into the camp.So the Philistines were afraid, for they said,“ God has come into the camp!” And they said,“ Woe to us! For such a thing has never happened before.

All these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.

So the Philistines fought, and Israel was defeated, and every man fled to his tent. There was a very great slaughter, and there fell of Israel thirty thousand foot soldiers.Also the ark of God was captured; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell slain on Mount Gilboa.Then the Philistines followed hard after Saul and his sons. And the Philistines killed Jonathan, Abinadab, and Malchishua, Saul’s sons.The battle became fierce against Saul. The archers hit him, and he was wounded by the archers.Then Saul said to his armorbearer,“ Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised men come and abuse me.” But his armorbearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword and fell on it.And when his armorbearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died.So Saul and his three sons died, and all his house died together.And when all the men of Israel who were in the valley saw that they had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook their cities and fled; then the Philistines came and dwelt in them.So it happened the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.And they stripped him and took his head and his armor, and sent word throughout the land of the Philistines to proclaim the news in the temple of their idols and among the people.Then they put his armor in the temple of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.And when all Jabesh Gilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,all the valiant men arose and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons; and they brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the tamarisk tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.But he did not inquire of the Lord; therefore He killed him, and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

And in that day you will say:“ O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid;‘ For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’”

“ Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”

And I will wait on the Lord, Who hides His face from the house of Jacob; And I will hope in Him.

It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in princes.All nations surrounded me, But in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.For I will not trust in my bow, Nor shall my sword save me.But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us.In God we boast all day long, And praise Your name forever. SelahBut You have cast us off and put us to shame, And You do not go out with our armies.

for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
