勿殺戮之、免我民遺忘之、我主我盾歟、以爾之力、使彼流離傾覆兮、

勿速翦滅、恐我民頓忘外患、求主護予、展爾巨能、使敵流離、終至隕亡兮、

莫殺戮之、恐我民遂忘、惟求護衛我之主、以大能使之流離失所、使之降為卑微、

主必迎予以仁慈兮。群兇其如予何。

Lord, you are like a shield that keeps us safe. Don’t kill my enemies all at once. If you do, my people will forget about it. Use your power to pull my enemies up by the roots like weeds. Destroy them.

可是你，耶和华啊，你是我四围的盾牌，是我的荣耀，是让我扬起头来的那一位！

你把我们交出，如同作食物的羊；你又把我们打散在列国中。

神哪，我们的盾牌，求你看顾；求你垂顾你受膏者的容面！

使他们的后裔倒在列国，分散在各地。

他用膀臂施展大能，驱散那些心思意念骄傲的人。他把权能者从高位上拉下，又把卑微的人高举。

为此神要把你永久拆毁，他会抓住你，把你从帐篷里拖出来，把你从活人之地连根拔出。细拉

因为活人知道自己必死；死人却毫无所知，他们也不会再得赏报，因为他们的名号已被遗忘；

在那些日子里，人们将会求死，却绝不得死；他们渴望死，死却逃避他们。

你耕地，地却不再给你效力；你在大地上必成为漂泊、流荡的人。”该隐对耶和华说：“对我的惩罚太重，超过我所能承担的。看哪，今天你从这地驱逐我，以致我要躲避你的面，在大地上成为漂泊、流荡的人，任何找到我的人，都会杀我！”耶和华对他说：“如果是这样，任何杀死该隐的人，都必受到七倍的报复。”耶和华就在该隐身上放了一个标记，免得找到他的人会击杀他。

那时，在犹太的人应当逃到山里；在城里的人应当出来；在乡下的人不要进城；

因为耶和华神是太阳，是盾牌，耶和华赐下恩惠和荣耀；他为那些行事纯全的人赐下福份，毫无保留。
