人則曰、義人果得賞賚、誠有上帝行鞫於世兮、

人曰為善者降之祥、上帝帝天下兮。

彼時人必云、善人果有善報、在世間真有判斷之天主、

使善人覩之而欣欣兮。濯其足於群姦之血。

Then people will say,“ Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

Then people will say,“ The godly will get their reward. There really is a God who judges the earth.”

Mankind will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

Then at last everyone will say,“ There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.”

And people will say,“ There certainly is a reward for the righteous; There certainly is a God who judges on the earth!”

So that men will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely He is God who judges in the earth.”

So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Then people will say,“ Yes, there is a reward for the righteous! There is a God who judges on earth!”

So that a man shall say, Verily[ there is] a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Then observers will say,“ Yes indeed, the godly are rewarded! Yes indeed, there is a God who judges in the earth!”

so that men shall say,“ Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

Let the nations rejoice and shout for joy, for you judge the peoples with fairness and lead the nations on earth. Selah

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them, for they will eat the fruit of their labor.

Then everyone will fear and will tell about God’s work, for they will understand what he has done.

So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? The outcome of those things is death.But now, since you have been set free from sin and have become enslaved to God, you have your fruit, which results in sanctification— and the outcome is eternal life!

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.

But look, the LORD keeps his eye on those who fear him— those who depend on his faithful love

Did I purify my heart and wash my hands in innocence for nothing?For I am afflicted all day long and punished every morning.If I had decided to say these things aloud, I would have betrayed your people.

Rise up, Judge of the earth; repay the proud what they deserve.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; he repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.

before the LORD, for he is coming— for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his faithfulness.

And he judges the world with righteousness; he executes judgment on the nations with fairness.

You have said,“ It is useless to serve God. What have we gained by keeping his requirements and walking mournfully before the LORD of Armies?

You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you ask,“ How have we wearied him?” When you say,“ Everyone who does what is evil is good in the LORD’s sight, and he is delighted with them, or else where is the God of justice?”

to declare,“ The LORD is just; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”

saying,“ Where is his‘ coming’ that he promised? Ever since our ancestors fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.”They deliberately overlook this: By the word of God the heavens came into being long ago and the earth was brought about from water and through water.Through these the world of that time perished when it was flooded.By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed.
