願你因他們的罪孽也照樣將報應秤給他們。上帝啊，願你以震怒、使別族之民敗落。

他們既有這些罪，難道還能逃脫嗎？神哪，求你在怒氣中使這民眾敗落！

恃惡豈能免罰、上帝歟、尚其發怒、傾覆斯族兮、

彼惟作惡、曷能逭罰、上帝兮、怒責斯民、使之隕墜。

彼眾作惡、豈能逃脫、求天主震怒、使此民墮落、

鳩眾埋伏。窺我蹤跡。處心積慮。欲褫我魄。

Because of their wickedness do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down.

Because they are so evil, make sure you don’t let them escape. God, bring down the nations in your anger.

For their crime will they escape? In wrath cast down the peoples, O God!

Remember how I stood before thee to speak good for them, to turn away thy wrath from them.Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and give them over to the power of the sword; and let their wives become childless, and widows; and let their men be slain of death, and their young men smitten of the sword in battle.Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them; for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.Yet, Jehovah, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me; forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight; but let them be overthrown before thee; deal thou with them in the time of thine anger.

Pour out thy wrath upon the nations that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name; for they have devoured Jacob, yea, they have devoured him and consumed him, and have laid waste his habitation.

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongue; For I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Thou that art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and that canst not look on perverseness, wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy peace when the wicked swalloweth up the man that is more righteous than he;

There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power over the day of death; and there is no discharge in war: neither shall wickedness deliver him that is given to it.

There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.

Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, Which frameth mischief by statute?They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood.
