Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语丢在背后。

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。

其实你恨恶管教，将我的言语抛在脑后。

你憎恶我的管教，把我的话抛在脑后。

至于你，你憎恨管教，并且把我的话丢在背后。

实际上，你恨恶管教，把我的话语丢在身后。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語丟在背後。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。

你憎惡我的管教，把我的話拋在腦後。

至於你，你憎恨管教，並且把我的話丟在背後。

你啊、你恨惡管教，卻將我的話丟在背後。

實際上，你恨惡管教，把我的話語丟在身後。

實則厭我訓誨、委我言於後兮、

惡訓言而不守、棄我道其如遺兮、

其實爾厭惡我之訓誨、將我之言語、棄置於後、

吾言如充耳。不復懷大法。

You hate my instruction and cast my words behind you.

You hate my teaching. You turn your back on what I say.

For you hate discipline, and you cast my words behind you.

For you refuse my discipline and treat my words like trash.

You hate instruction and fling my words behind you.

For you yourself hate discipline, And you throw My words behind you.

Seeing that thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee?

You hate instruction and turn your back on My words.

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

For you hate instruction and reject my words.

since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?

“ Nevertheless they were disobedient And rebelled against You, Cast Your law behind their backs And killed Your prophets, who testified against them To turn them to Yourself; And they worked great provocations.

Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.

and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?You who say,“ Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?

“ Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord,

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

but you have done more evil than all who were before you, for you have gone and made for yourself other gods and molded images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back—

And they said,“ That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own plans, and we will every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.”

The wise men are ashamed, They are dismayed and taken. Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have?

But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.”

Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man!

And say:“ How I have hated instruction, And my heart despised correction!I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!

And it happened, when Jehudi had read three or four columns, that the king cut it with the scribe’s knife and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the scroll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.Yet they were not afraid, nor did they tear their garments, the king nor any of his servants who heard all these words.Nevertheless Elnathan, Delaiah, and Gemariah implored the king not to burn the scroll; but he would not listen to them.And the king commanded Jerahmeel the king’s son, Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to seize Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet, but the Lord hid them.Now after the king had burned the scroll with the words which Baruch had written at the instruction of Jeremiah, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying:“ Take yet another scroll, and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.And you shall say to Jehoiakim king of Judah,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ You have burned this scroll, saying,‘ Why have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and cause man and beast to cease from here?’”Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah:“ He shall have no one to sit on the throne of David, and his dead body shall be cast out to the heat of the day and the frost of the night.I will punish him, his family, and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring on them, on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and on the men of Judah all the doom that I have pronounced against them; but they did not heed.”’”Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote on it at the instruction of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And besides, there were added to them many similar words.
