我將示爾、爾其聽之、我所見者、我必述之、即哲人受於列祖、而不隱者也、斯地獨賜於彼、且無外人經歷其間、

我為昨日之人、罔有知識、在世之日如影、請爾詢於前代、務厥祖所考驗、

我追思昔日、上古之年、

當以之告爾子、爾子告厥子、厥子告於後代、

其稱謝耶和華、呼籲其名、以其作為普告萬民兮、謳歌之、頌美之、道其奇行兮、

爾與子孫、必守此禮、永為定例、至耶和華所許錫爾之地、宜守此禮、如爾子孫問曰、行此禮曷故、則曰、是乃耶和華逾越之祭禮、當耶和華擊埃及時、逾越我第宅、拯救我家屬、於是以色列民俯首而拜、

必來稱述其義、以其所行、宣示後生之民兮、

惟生者始頌美爾、如我今日然、爾之誠實、父示於子、

耶和華戰紀曰、蘇法之哇哈伯及亞嫩谷、諸谷之地勢、斜趨亞珥鄉、附近摩押界、由此而往、至於比珥、在彼有井、昔耶和華諭摩西曰、汝集人民、我飲以水、

詩人詠之曰、希實本、爾其詣之、西宏邑、願建築之、火自希實本而出、焰自西宏邑而發、燬摩押之亞珥、及亞嫩崇邱之牧伯、摩押其有禍兮、基抹之民其將亡兮、厥子遁逃、厥女見攘、為亞摩利王西宏所獲、我已射之、希實本危亡、爰及底本、我已滅之、至於挪法、迄米底巴、○

上帝歟、我老年皓首時、勿遺棄我、俟我宣爾力於後世、述爾能於來者兮、

厥後爾子若問爾曰、我上帝耶和華、以此法度典章律例諭爾、其意云何、
