Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.

緣我獲罪於耶和華、必當其怒、迨其為我伸冤、為我行鞫、彼必導我入於光明、我必得見其義、

我上帝歟、援我於惡人之手、脫不義及強暴者之手兮、

我不自覺有疚、然不以此見義、蓋擬我者主也、

見詬不反詈、受苦無厲言、乃自託於依義而鞫者、

押沙龍謂亞希多弗曰、我儕當若何而行、爾其謀之、亞希多弗曰、爾父留妃以守宮闈、爾入其中、以色列眾聞爾為父所憾、則從爾者、皆強厥手矣、於是為押沙龍張幕宮巔、押沙龍遂入御父妃、以色列人目睹之、當日亞希多弗所設之謀、如諮諏於上帝、為大衛、為押沙龍、皆如是、亞希多弗謂押沙龍曰、許我簡卒一萬二千、今夜啟行、追襲大衛、乘其困憊手弱臨之、使之驚惶、侍從必遁、而我獨擊其王、俾眾悉歸於爾、得爾所索之人、則如眾返、而民安焉、押沙龍及以色列長老、皆悅此言、
