永恆主我的上帝啊，我日間呼救，夜間在你面前哀呼。願我的禱告達到你面前；求你傾耳聽我的喊求。因為我心裏滿了憂患；我的性命臨近了陰間。

我的上帝，我的上帝，你為甚麼離棄了我？為甚麼遠離而不救我？不聽我哀哼的話呢？

約在下午三點的時候，耶穌大聲高呼說：『以利，以利，拉馬撒巴各大尼？』就是說：『我的上帝，我的上帝，你為甚麼撇棄我？』

就稍往前走，俯伏在地上禱告說：『我父啊，倘若可能，就叫這杯離開我吧；然而不要照我所願的，只要照你所願的。』

我夜間捫心沉思；默默思想，心裏反覆探問：『難道主要永遠屏棄，絕不再喜悅我？難道他的堅愛就永久止息，他的忠信就代代絕止？難道上帝就忘了施恩惠，或閉塞住他慈悲的心麼？』（細拉）我便說：『這是我的弱點：以為至高者的右手權能改變了！』我要提說永恆主所行的；我要懷念你古時的奇事。

又好比黑門的甘露落在錫安的眾山上；因為在那裏有永恆主命定的賜福，就是活到永遠的生命。
