所有敬畏耶和華、走在他道路上的人，都是蒙福的！你必然吃到你手辛苦得來的，你必蒙福，事事順利！你的妻子在你的內室，如同多結果實的葡萄樹；你的兒女圍繞你的桌子，如同橄欖樹的幼苗。看哪，敬畏耶和華的人必蒙這樣的祝福！願耶和華從錫安祝福你！願你一生所有的日子，都看到耶路撒冷的美福！願你看到你兒女的兒女，願平安臨到以色列！

是的，他必解救你脫離捕鳥人的網羅，脫離致命的瘟疫；他必用自己的羽翼遮蔽你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信實是盾牌和壁壘。你必不怕夜間的恐懼，或是白天飛來的箭；也不怕幽暗中流行的瘟疫，或是正午毀滅人的病毒。即使千人仆倒在你旁邊，萬人仆倒在你右邊，災禍也不會接近你。
