I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, Lord, as you know.

I have told the whole community of those who worship you. I have told them what you have done to save me. Lord, you know that I haven’t kept quiet.

I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O Lord.

I have told all your people about your justice. I have not been afraid to speak out, as you, O Lord, well know.

I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; see, I do not keep my mouth closed— as you know, LORD.

The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.He began by saying to them,“ Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips.“ Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked.
