Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

Blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord. They don’t trust in proud people. Those proud people worship statues of gods.

Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!

Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols.

How happy is anyone who has put his trust in the LORD and has not turned to the proud or to those who run after lies!

Blessed is that man who makes the Lord his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Blessed is the man that maketh Jehovah his trust, And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord will lead them away with those who practice injustice. Peace be upon Israel.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in people.It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in noblemen.

Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see, and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.No one remembers, nor is there knowledge or understanding to say,“ I have burned half of it in the fire and also have baked bread over its coals. I roast meat and eat it. Then I make the rest of it into an abomination, I bow down before a block of wood!”He feeds on ashes; a deceived heart has misled him. And he cannot save himself, nor say,“ Is there not a lie in my right hand?”

Those who are followers of worthless idols Abandon their faithfulness,

Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his cast metal images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.They are worthless, a work of mockery; At the time of their punishment they will perish.

You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who wander from Your commandments.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.Lord of armies, Blessed is the person who trusts in You!

A despicable person is despised in his eyes, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He takes an oath to his own detriment, and does not change;

Again Isaiah says,“ There shall come the root of Jesse, And He who arises to rule over the Gentiles, In Him will the Gentiles hope.”Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me.A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil.Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart.My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a blameless way is one who will serve me.One who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; One who speaks lies shall not maintain his position before me.

that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and false signs and wonders,and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not accept the love of the truth so as to be saved.For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
